Following on from our previous blog post on our Med series of art prints, which you can read about here, in this blog post we are spotlighting our Yosemite travel print.
This is a continuation of our ongoing series of blog posts on some of our favourite prints from when we opened our independent online shop. Hopefully you will get to know us a little better by the end and understand just how we get inspired and create each print.
We illustrate all of the designs we sell as prints by hand so you know that love - and patience - has gone into each one!

Here is the Yosemite art print:
This is a striking representation of the Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park.
This print has been created using clean lines and a more cool-toned palette. It is a modern take on the classic travel posters of the early-mid twentieth century.
The waterfall takes centre stage and is neatly framed by the towering woodland either side. We love the gradient of the colours used and how the darker foreground really draws you in.
Yosemite National Park is famous for its waterfalls, granite monoliths and giant sequoias. It is the tallest waterfall in North America and flows over three tiers.
We have mentioned over on our Instagram before, but we actually happened to have had a trip booked to visit Yosemite in the next couple of weeks which was sadly cancelled. It would have been the first time experiencing this incredible beauty first hand. We want to make sure when we go, we’ll make the most of it as the Park is so expansive and it just won’t feel the same if there are any restrictions in place. So maybe not next year but the year after - either way we will go one day!

This print would be great if you are planning a travel themed gallery wall or you are searching for something to remind you of an enjoyable trip to Yosemite. Even if you haven’t had the chance to go, we think its a great idea to hang it on the wall anyway as inspiration for when you’re booking your next trip. It’s so easy to forget all the amazing places out there so this would be a nice little reminder.
We could see this print going in a hallway/landing or in a dining/living space with modern mid-century decor.
